Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands features tons of content like weapons, gear, characters, and side quests. Some of the quests can be difficult to complete if you do not follow a guide. This quest will require you to go to many places on the map and fight tons of – strong and weak -enemies. With that said, let’s dive right in and take a look at how to complete A Wandering Aye side quest in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: A Wandering Aye Side Quest
After progressing in the game a bit, you need to head over to Crackmast Cove and find Bones Three-Wood there. He will be eagerly waiting for you to talk to him so he can give you the “A Wandering Aye” side quest. Upon talking to him, you’ll come to know that his first mate has been captured by Long Bronzed Gilbert, and Bones needs your help.

Wake the Witch Doctor
At this point, you will want to make your way back to the docks and find the Witch Doctor. Players will notice that she is asleep in her hammock and is not waking up. To wake her up, you must go to the dock below and fire the canon. She won’t wake up from the first shot so you’ll have to continuously fire it until she eventually does get up. Then, speak with the Witch Doctor.
Now, fast travel to the Scallywag Landing, and she will be located there. Interact with her and she will give you the Hex Caster to take with you for the next part of the quest.
Use the Hex Caster
After getting the item, make your way to the Wrecker’s Bane and find the area with the cauldron. Place your newly acquired Hex Caster here and some skeletons will spawn. Defeat the enemies (they are pretty weak) and collect the Cursed Essence that they drop. Keep in mind that you need to collect 4 Cursed Essence so you’ll have to repeat this step or find other cauldrons.

Past the Wooden Gate
After collecting all 4, head over to Wrecker’s Bane. Now, you can finally move past the wooden gate that was previously closed. Past the gate is more enemies that you will have to defeat – namely the Coiled Impalers. Continue moving forward toward the shore and you’ll encounter finally Long Bronzed Gilbert.
Gilbert will call for his crew to attack you. There will be tons of skeletons that surround you so be prepared for a massive battle. Also, you cannot attack Gilbert at this point because he is quite literally protected by Plot Armor. After surviving the wave of enemies, Gilbert will escape in his ship. However, you finally have everything you need to create the curse. Go to the cauldron nearby and create the curse.
Time to Fight Gilbert
As soon as you finish creating the curse, a portal will appear. Head over into it and keep moving forward. Eventually, you’ll come across a skull-shaped rock that has skeletons in front of it. Talk to them and eventually, Bones will give you the idea to turn them into crabs. As soon as you do, they will attack you so be prepared for it.
Now, head inside and keep making your way forward until you reach Gilbert and LeChance. After some dialogues, you will have to fend off another wave of skeletons. After successfully doing so, you’ll see that LeChance is dropped into the water below. Check up on him to progress the quest further.

Keep moving forward and you’ll come across Gilbert. Use the Hex Caster on him and he’ll turn into a giant crab. Now, you can finally attack him and defeat him. After defeating him, a portal will appear that will take you to LeChance. He will be a spirit now and he will call out to Bones. They will discuss how they can be together again.
So, now you’ll have to turn your trust pal Bones into a crab so that the Witch Doctor can kill him. He will also become a spirit and reunite with LeChance. This is the final quest of Three-Wood and it has a bittersweet ending.
