Earlier this year, people were going crazy on Twitter when they saw the trailer for the game Abandoned. After the trailer, everyone started getting involved in conspiracy theories and saying that this is a secret project for the infamous Silent Hills by Hideo Kojima. Whether you believe the theories or not, all the coincidences are surely surprising. Today, Blue Box Game Studios finally gives us some details about Abandoned in 2022.
They released an app for the PS5 which allows the player to watch the trailer in real-time. On top of that, there was a short teaser for the game which showed a man walking followed up with the game’s title. This got players even more excited to see if the project is really Silent Hills or not. With that said, let’s take a look at the details provided by Blue Box about Abandoned.
What To Expect From Abandoned – Is Silent Hill Coming?
Today, Blue Box Game Studios tweeted a link to their website that gives us plenty of information about Abandoned and what they have in store for us in the coming months. At this point, we do not know the real name of the game. We only know that Abandoned is a code name and the real name will be revealed soon. The developers teased in a now-deleted Tweet that the name starts with “S and ends with L”. This only caused more players to believe that the name of the game is Silent Hill.
Tech Demo
At the start of the new year, Blue Box Game Studios will release a short tech demo that will showcase the technology behind the game. While this won’t be the official gameplay, it will show us what the game is capable of and how smooth it will feel.
Players will be able to experience the haptic feedback and other features of the Dual Sense controller. Since the game is exclusive to PS5, it will make the most of the controller and other PS5 features as well such as 3D audio.
Prologue A Game Reveal
We finally have a date for prologue A for the game. If you are not aware, the game will be slowly revealed over time and will be eventually released. The first prologue will come out during the first quarter of 2022. Blue Box is working extremely hard to ensure a good and stable experience for the players.
