Call of Duty: Mobile is now receiving its second community update of Season 11, called as October 22 update. Activision has announced plenty of new content this week with several Halloween themed events and challenges. COD Mobile team has been teasing Halloween related content for a while now and is now finally going live today.
COD Mobile October 22 update is not as massive as the Season 11 launch, but it still brings lots of new stuff. To start with, there is a new seasonal challenge live that will let you unlock the new explosive sniper rifle – NA-45. Then we have the Standoff map Halloween playlist and the launch of the new King map for Gunfight and Duel matches. And as expected, Attack of the Undead mode is also back!

Halloween Events
This is the very first week that Halloween themed events have started showing up COD Mobile. The team has worked on new events this Halloween, instead of repeating the same from last year. Most of the events are focused around the Multiplayer mode right now, but this update also mentions that Battle Royale will be getting a Halloween themed twist as well – zombies, may be?
Pumpkin Confirmed
Call of Duty: Mobile has brought back the popular 10v10 Kill Confirmed mode with a Halloween twist and is now calling it Pumpkin Confirmed. There is a spooky themed playlist and a featured event by this same name! You will be able to play 10v10 Multiplayer matches in the playlist, and along with that, you will be able to unlock some very cool rewards with the Pumpkin Confirmed featured event.
This mode is available on the following maps: Shipment, Take Off, Meltdown, Crossfire, Firing Range, Terminal, Crash and Raid
For the event, you just need to collect pumpkins (dog tags) or play on the Halloween standoff map through that separate playlist. You have to complete nine tasks focused around completing the objectives and in return, you get the following rewards:
- (Epic) Charm – Pumpkin Smile
- (Rare) Weapon – DL Q33 – Jack O’ Lantern
- (Rare) Weapon – MSMC – Jack O’ Lantern
- (Rare) Sticker – Deadlocks
Halloween Standoff
Standoff is one of the original maps in Call of Duty series and a fan-favourite. The COD Mobile team is bringing back the Halloween Standoff series from last year which you will be able to play in several Multiplayer modes. The entire map has been decorated according to the Halloween theme.
Players will be able to play Halloween Standoff map in the following modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Attack of the Undead and Cranked.
COD Mobile October 22 Update Patch Notes
Among the tons of bugs and small improvements with mini-updates in COD Mobile, here is a full list of patch notes of the October 22 update:
Multiplayer
- NA-45: Damage reduced
- DLQ33: Reload speed increased
- HG40: Firing range reduced, damage at medium range reduced, and other adjustments
Battle Royale
- NA-45: Damage reduced and bullet velocity reduced
- Purifier: Damage enhanced slightly, players can now cancel Reload animation
- Tempest: Damage and damage radius enhanced slightly, weapon fire charging time decreased
Attachments
- Attachments for shotguns
- Sawed-Off Barrel (-2): Negative effect of reducing firing range has been mitigate
- Extended Barrel (+2): Active effect of enhancing firing range has been weakened
- Attachments for the NA-45
- High Explosive Ammo: The explosion range of the ammo -10%
- Attachments for the Fennec
- Extended Mag: clip size extended
