A new Dota 2 patch – update 7.31 – is coming out later today and we are super excited and looking forward to it. While the official date for Update 7.31 is Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, players are curious to know what time it will launch. After taking a look at previous patterns, you can expect the latest update somewhere between 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM GMT.

UPDATE (1:15 PM PT): Don’t lose hope. You are not alone, my friends! Just like you guys, we are also hard hitting the refresh button and waiting for the patch to drop. Not sure why are they taking so long. Valve could have simply released the notes whole they prepare to roll out the patch.

UPDATE (12 PM PT): We are aware that the above rumoured time has passed and there is still no sign of the new patch. Our team is monitoring, and will update this page as soon as we have more information.

As for the changes, there are some major adjustments that we can expect. Alongside balance changes, the major spotlight is on the Goblin Techies rework. We do not know how the hero is being changed but it is confirmed that there will be a rework. More details about this will be revealed shortly or when the patch comes out.

Many fans are hoping that the hero will get nerfed and some are even going as far as to say that Valve should remove Techies. Other speculations includes a new hero – Primal Beast, changes to gold and experience values in lanes and the jungle, new neutral items, and tons of balance changes.
