Day 2 Match Results and Points Table
The following matches were scheduled for today:
- 1st Match: Daivo.FreeSlot (TH) vs Resurgence (MY)
- 2nd Match: NRX Jeremiah 29:11 (PH) vs Divinity Uprising (SG)
- 3rd Match: DG Esports (ID) vs Resurgence (MY)
Result of 1st Match
After a clean sweep over FPX on day 1, Daivo.FS faced the 4th ranked Resurgence on day 2. The first and second map resulted in a one sided win for the team from Thailand as they crushed RSG 150-69 in hardpoint and 6-nil in the Search and Destroy map.
Deja Vu from yesterday for RSG, as they lost the first two games and cameback in the 3rd one, to avoid losing 3 to nothing. They won the domination map 150 to 106 for their second win of the tournament.
Result of 2nd Match
In the first two games, NRX 29:11 totally dominated DVT, whilst winning 150 to 89 and 6 to 1 in hardpoint and SnD respectively. NRX 29:11, which had lost all three of their games yesterday against Dunia Games Esports, looked confident as ever while taking down the champions of Singapore.
The third domination game, in particular, featured a nail biting finish. But in the end, DVT managed to come out on top after winning 150-137 in a toe-to-toe contest.
Result of 3rd Match
DG vs Resurgence for the last match of day 2. DG Esports comprehensively won the hardpoint map 150-49, but this time Resurgence avoided getting 2-nil down again, owing to the fact they won the 2nd SnD game 6 to 4.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t avoid the loss in the last game, as they went down 2-1 for the third time in a row, after losing the domination map 150-109 against DG Esports.
