Caves and Cliffs

Much like the name of this update, the first advancement introduced is the Caves and Cliffs advancement. To unlock it, you must jump from the maximum height (build limit) and fall all the way to the bottom without dying. While that sounds impossible, there are quite a few ways in which you can complete it.

The best way to do this is to hold a water bucket in hand and jump from the maximum height. Right before you hit the ground, you’ll have to use the water bucket and break your fall. Using the bucket spills a block of water that will stop you from dying when hitting the ground. Doing this trick can take some practice to get used to. If you are a new player, don’t give up and keep trying.

To unlock this advancement, you’ll have to ride a Strider on lave for at least fifty blocks. If you want to ride a Strider, you must first put a saddle on it. After putting a saddle, mount it and hold a Warped Fungus on a Stick. The Strider will move in the direction in which you hold the stick. Simply do so over the lava for fifty blocks and this advancement will unlock.

Sound of Music

Sound of Music

Sound of Music is probably the easiest advancement to unlock out of these four. To unlock it, you must play the jukebox in the meadows. To do so, grab a disc and put it inside the jukebox while you are on top of the meadow biome. If you are not certain how the biome looks, don’t worry, we’ll explain it to you.

The meadow biome has green blocks and tons of beautiful flowers surrounding you. It is a sort of hilly area with mountains in it as well. Keep in mind that you need to complete the Sweet Dreams advancement before this. To complete Sweet Dreams, simply sleep in a bed and you’ll get it.

Star Trader

Unlocking this final advancement can be a bit tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing. First of all, to unlock this, you have to trade with a village at the height limit. We recommend building a stairway to the height limit and slowly pushing the villager from behind. Eventually, both of you will reach the top. At that point, trade with the villager to unlock this advancement.

Those are all the four advancements and how you can get them. Some of these can take some time and effort but keep going at it and you’ll unlock them. Let us know in the comments below how many have you managed to unlock so far.
