Myth of Empire just launched their New Year event and players are extremely excited about it. This event adds a bunch of content to the game such as new outfits, new modes, and various activities. That is why this guide will take a look at the Myth of Empires New Year event.
The event will last till January 3rd so make sure that you participate in the new year festivities. This is the best time to get back into the game as well since you will be given tons of rewards; making your progress easier and faster. Myth of Empires New Year Event
This event is live right now so make sure to update your game and partake in it. Playing with your friends is extremely fun this time around since the rewards you get are beneficial for your entire team. Without further ado, let’s take a look at all of the additions coming to the game.
New Year Treasure Hunting
The Treasure Hunting event will start on December 23rd and will end on January 3rd. During this time, you will run into high-tier warriors lurking around the world map. Defeat these enemies to open the treasure chests. You’ll have the chance to get valuable treasures below:
- New Year Exclusive Interior Decoration: Lantern, Endless Knot, and Firecrackers
- Fireworks: Bloom & Prosper, Outshine Flowers, Hundred Flowers, Purple & Red, and Jumping Jacks. You can use a torch to ignite them
- Guild Rubbing Scrolls: Rubbing scroll includes “Lantern,” “Vital Tiger,” “Auspicious Cloud,” and “Magpie.” You can use the rubbing scrolls on the banner
- Turtle Coin of White Metal: You can use this officially minted turtle-shaped coin to trade more than a hundred copper coins
- Jiaozi (Chinese dumpling): Imagine the taste of a light dough wrapping around meats& vegetables. Jiaozi, the true mouth-watering euphoria… You can eat Jiaozi to restore Fullness and recover from Toxicity
- New Lv.10 and Lv.30 Weapons
New Year Outfit
Players will have to complete daily quests in order to get fragments for the New Year Outfit. Once you have 30 fragments, the outfit will be available to unlock. Not only does it look extremely cool, but it is also quite intimidating. Make sure that you go to the outfit mode in the equipment panel and right-click this outfit to unlock it.
Snowball Fighting
Myth of Empires is introducing a fun mechanic in this New Year event. You will have to complete daily quests in order to unlock snowballs. Once you get them, throw them at your allies to give them a small buff. The buff lasts for about 20 seconds and it increases their HP, Max Stamina, and related regeneration rate.
Sky Lantern
The final thing being added in this update is the Sky Lanterns. Starting on December 23rd at 16:00 UTC, players will be able to see dozens of sky lanterns gently floating in the sky. They not only look aesthetically pleasing but also drop various treasure chests for you to collect. There are 4 main treasures that you can get from these lanterns. The rewards include:
- Big and Small Red Packet. Open the red packet, and you have a chance to get Turtle Coin of White Metal, Quenching Essence, and Black Stone
- New Year Exclusive Interior Decoration: Lantern, Endless Knot, and Firecrackers
- Fireworks: Bloom & Prosper, Outshine Flowers, Hundred Flowers, Purple & Red, Jumping Jacks. You can use a torch to ignite them
- Jiaozi
If you defeat the high-leveled warriors roaming the map in this update, you have a chance to get the Cloud-piercing Arrow. Shooting this arrow in the sky will summon a bunch of sky lanterns at your location. This allows you to get multiple treasure chests and unlock all of the rewards.
