PDW-57 Gunsmith Loadout and Attachments in Call of Duty: Mobile

The PDW-57 is an iconic gun that almost everyone has experienced in Call of Duty: Mobile. It has recently been subjected to numerous nerfs and has thus fallen out of the meta quite a bit. However, with our specialized gunsmith guide for the PDW-57. We’ll be trying to make the gun accurate and increase the mobility of this nostalgic submachine gun.

The PDW-57 is a submachine gun that unlocks at level 6 for every player. This is the reason why it is wildly used and remembered by most who played Call of Duty: Mobile in the early days. The gun is still extremely well-balanced and packs a good punch.

PDW-57 – Overview and Tips

PDW 57 overview

The PDW 57 has one of the highest damages in terms of a submachine gun and is therefore quite viable against most AR players. The base accuracy or range of the gun is not really sufficient which is why a proper gunsmith loadout is required in order to counteract the issues it faces. The gun’s recoil pattern is quite passable and can thus be easily recommended to newer players.

Tip: If you are new player you can claim PDW-57 Zombie Gene at day 2 of New Player Login Reward.

PDW-57 Gunsmith Loadout / Attachments

PDW 57 gunsmith loadout and attachments

Now, we’re going to be taking a detailed look at our favourite gunsmith loadout for the PDW-57 in Season 11. This loadout has been tried and tested by us here at BRGeeks and we recommend it!

Muzzle: OWC Light Compensator

The OWC Light Compensator helps with our Lateral and Vertical recoil stability which is extremely important as the PDW like any SMG has a recoil pattern that is really hard to predict under most scenarios.

Perk: Sleight of Hand

The sleight of hand perk increses our reload speed allowing for more fast-paced gameplay and mobility.

Laser: OWC Laser – Tactical

We use the OWC Laser – Tactical for both ADS Speed and Bullet Spread Accuracy. Both of these are extremely important to amp up and this is usually the attachment of choice for almost every loadout we use here at BRGeeks since it has almost no disadvantages except a visible laser sight.

Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

The Grip Tape is used to increase our ADS Speed when running-and-gunning. Due to our hybrid playstyle, expect to be moving around alot. So, having faster ADS Speed will definitely be an edge in battle especially against heavy AR users.

Stock: MIP Strike Stock

The Stipped Grip Tape dramatically increases our Sprint-To-Fire speed with a reduction in ADS Bullet Spread Accuracy. Overall, its a great attachment but it can also be replaced with a Granulated Grip Tape if you lean towards a flanking gameplay style.

Pros:

  • High damage for an SMG
  • Accurate at medium / short range

Cons:

  • Inaccurate at longer ranges
  • Recoil pattern hard to master

This concludes our PDW-57 gunsmith loadout. The loadout mainly revolves around mobility and weaving in and out of fights as much as you can. The high damage of the SMG makes it worth having as an alternative to a proper AR and therefore this gunsmith loadout for the PDW-57 is a must try!
