PUBG New State has just been announced for both iOS and Android. The game is now available for pre-registration. We already have an official trailer for the game with a dedicated website set up by the developers. New State is set in 2051, with the trailer showing near-future weapons with gadgets like combat shields and drones incorporated into the game. Looking at the trailer, PUBG New State seems to be a mishmash between Apex Legends and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s futuristic combat mechanics.
Currently, the game seems to be in the early stages of development. However, we can pre-emptively assume that the futuristic fast-paced take on PUBG is due to Apex Legend’s incoming release on Mobile Platforms. So, it only makes sense for Tencent to try and compete for dominance in the space. Also, players will modify and alter their weapons which sounds very familiar to Apex Legend’s intricate attachment mechanics.
PUBG New State – Details
New State is the third Battle Royale game developed by Tencent. Following a completely new formula, the game’s futuristic vibe will surely attract a potential mobile FPS player. Moreover, with a new Engine being used for the game’s development, PUBG Studio has made promises of “ultra-realistic graphics that push the limits of mobile gaming.”

As seen in the trailer, the game seems to be much more fast-paced than its predecessor. Moreover, with new attachments and faster vehicles, we can expect the game to progress more quickly.
