RUST has announced their final update of 2021 and players are super excited about it. This update will wipe the servers so that the players can start over. RUST December Update Release Time
This final update for RUST in 2021 will be released on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021. According to RUST Twitter, the update will go live at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM GMT. However, keep in mind that the servers will be taken down for a brief period for maintenance between 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT. The servers will be down because RUST plans to wipe them so every player can start from scratch in the new update.
New Additions in the Update
The full details regarding the patch haven’t been revealed yet but we have information about some of the changes being introduced in this update. Here are the changes/additions in this update that we know of:
- Forest density increased
- Fish will be worth more in scrap
- Bulbs in the industrial wall lights are brighter
- Animals can no longer attack players in modular vehicles
- New admin spectate mode
- Electrical items and car parts separated into own branch on tier 2 tech tree
- MP5 will now have research cost and position change in tier 3 tech tree, and will also have it’s drop chance from NPCs lowered
- Watch Tower decay and health have been tweaked
- AI improvements
