League of Legends: Wild Rift Minimum Specs for Android and iOS

There is still time in the launch of League of Legends: Wild Rift, but that doesn’t mean you cannot be prepared for when it finally goes public later this year. Riot Games, the developers of LoL games, have released the official League of Legends: Wild Rift minimum specs guide for Android and iOS devices.

Just recently, the team added two more regions to its closed beta of Wild Rift – South Korea and Japan. It seems the beta release of Wild Rift is coming along really well with streamers hyping it like crazy. For a mobile MOBA, you need to make sure your device is all set to run the game without any lag or freezes.

As Wild Rift is being opened to more people, that means a lot more devices are going to run the game. It is a good idea to know beforehand if your device is able to handle the graphics — or you need to get a new phone to support the latest mobile games.

Here are the minimum specs you need to run Wild Rift on Android and iOS devices.

League Of Legends: Wild Rift Minimum Specs

Wild Rift Minimum Specs on Android

Here are the minimum specs you need to have on your Android phone to run League of Legends: Wild Rift properly:

  • CPU: 4-Core 1.5 GHZ and above (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • RAM: 1.5GB and above
  • Resolution: 1280 x 720 and above
  • OS: Android 4.4 “Kit Kat” and above
  • Storage: 1.4 GB

From the above mentioned specs, it looks like any Android device launched in the last 3-4 years should be easily able to handle Wild Rift. Like most MOBA games on mobile, there would be options to switch graphics settings on lower-end phones.

Anyone with the latest flagship phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or the Google Pixel 5 should be able to enjoy Wild Rift in the best experience.

Wild Rift Minimum Specs on iOS

The following are the Wild Rift minimum specs needed to run the game on iOS devices:

  • CPU: Quad-Core 2.34GHZ (equivalent to iPhone 7 and above)
  • RAM: 2GB and above
  • Resolution: 750 x 1334 pixels and above
  • OS: iOS 10.0.1 and above
  • Storage: 1.4GB

The requirements above are slightly higher on iOS devices than Android. This may be because the iOS variant may not come with different graphics settings. To run Wild Rift on iOS, you need to have atleast an iPhone 7 or above. In case you missed it, we saw Wild Rift running on iPhone 12 yesterday.

On both, Android and iOS devices, you need to have atleast 1.4GB of free space for the game to download and install. However, expect this number to go up as Riot Games will add new features and release updates with new in-game content.

UPDATE: You can now download the Wild Rift APK (beta) an try it on Android phones.
