Here’s everything you need to know about how you can check the status of Mobile Legends and ensure that everything is working properly on the server’s end. Just like any other online game, Mobile Legends operates on servers that are located throughout the world. So, there is a high chance that you might be experiencing some downtime at a particular point throughout your day. Since the game has gotten a large influx of players recently, it’s only obvious that the servers do get crowded sometimes which may lead to them going down. Here’s how you can check the server status of Mobile Legends.

Mobile Legends is quite a popular MOBA game. Sadly, there still is no official way from the developers to check if the servers are down or not. However, players have come up with certain websites and ways for you to get an idea if your internet bothering you or if it’s the server itself. Apart from the slow servers, if you have been experiencing lag in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), it could be due to other reasons.

Sometimes there is a bad patch rolled out when suddenly players start facing problems with Mobile Legends, or may be a bad server update is causing other issues. You can check for all this on the latest social media posts by other players facing the same issues like you. The best place to start off is on Reddit, and then you can head to Twitter and Facebook for official and player-reported posts.

Alternatively, you can also try playing on the Test Server to rule out any patch or client-side issues with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on Android and iOS.

Usually, the subreddit provides you with updates regarding the state of the game. You can also find official developer notes and other user-based guides from the community as well.

For the most common bugs and problems, the MLBB team has published an entire FAQs section on Reddit that you can read through for the kind of problem you have. Here is a list of the most common bugs as listed by the MLBB team:

  • Why are my heroes showing up black?
  • Hero name does not match Hero’s portrait
  • Account in Danger
  • Unable to gift skins
  • Blue orbs in battle, ugly graphics in Heroes List and a ‘?’ symbol in Hero Portrait
  • Deduction of credit score without committing foul play
  • Failure to switch account
  • Black Screen

Twitter

Alternatively, Twitter is one social network that players go directly to post about or look for game down times. Not just games, we have also seen users posting about social network down times, like when all of Facebook properties (WhatsApp, Instagram etc.) stopped working at the start of 2021.

You can use the power of #MobileLegends hashtag and look for other players complaining about the same server issues you might be having.

The developers have promised that an official way to check server status is in the works. However, until a website or dedicated server status page is not officially released, using services like Downdetector and / or Outrage Report, Reddit and other social networks are going to be your only choices.

With all this said, since Mobile Legends generally has stable servers, you won’t need to be checking Mobile Legends server status very often. For the latest patch notes, stay tuned to our MLBB section.
