CrossfireX has just been released on both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S and it has a ton of bugs, crashes, and issues that the developers have been made aware of. Thankfully, Remedy Entertainment, the publishers, have already released a statement regarding these errors and presented their opinions on the community feedback.

While there seems to be no set date, the issues are in the works by the development team and periodic updates will be released. If you want to take a look at a list of all the errors and issues that are coming out in the update, you can find them down below.

CrossfireX: Known Issues and Workarounds

Here’s a list of all the official known issues currently present in the game. If you are facing any other bug or crashing in CrossfireX, please let us know in the comments and we’ll add it here! Hopefully, it’ll be picked up by the developers and fixed. The following issues have been updated as of February 11, 2022:

ADS With Car 4

Issue: Sometimes the aim-down sight goes in and out while shooting. This is a bug and will be fixed.

AIM Settings

Issue:  we hear your request for options to adjust aim acceleration and sensitivity settings. We are working on adding more detailed options for the analog stick including acceleration, sensitivity, dead zone, and aim assist.

Sliding

Issue: the issue that sliding stops when colliding with the side of an object will be fixed. Also, we will improve the experience of speed reduction while sliding.

Boogieman Imbalance

Issue: We will adjust so as not to be able to obtain additional points while being in the Boogieman state. Also, the ability of HP auto-recovery will be removed, and the difficulty of becoming the Boogieman overall will be increased.

More Maps

Issue:  several maps will be added for both Classic and Modern modes.

Here’s what the developers had to say regarding when all these fixes will be deployed to all supported platforms:

These updates will take some time, but we are dedicated to including all of them in our first game update, which is planned for early March, 2022. Again, thank you for your valuable feedback, your love for CrossfireX and your patience. Together, we’ll continue to grow and refine CrossfireX as a community. We appreciate you, Mercenaries!
