Elden Ring Time to Beat: What is Singleplayer Mode Duration / Length?

From Software Inc’s Elden Ring is proving to be one of the most hyped ARPGs to date. With a campaign that’s written by George R. R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki, we’re expecting nothing but greatness. With that said, the developers have just released the total amount of time it takes to complete a playthrough of Elden Ring.

As of yet, it seems like the playthrough does not account for side objectives and all other achievements that are included within the game. In essence, we now have an idea of how long it’ll take to play through the bare minimum of the game.

What is Elden Ring Campaign Duration?

Elden Ring will have a campaign duration of about 30 hours. However, the game can take a lesser or greater amount of time depending on your skill and how often you go for side objectives instead.

Compared to other games that are of the same genre, this seems to place right in line, here are a few examples:

  • GTA V: 32 -35 hours
  • Witcher 3: 52 – 60 hours
  • Dark Souls: 42 hours
  • Bloodborne: 34 hours

If you are going to be playing the game as a completionist, you’ll have to spend at least 60 hours to complete the game. Since the game is set in the open world, you might veer off on occasion to explore the world around you, too.

It is important to note though, that the developers concocted the game with a 30-hour cap early in development. Therefore, the game probably won’t cross that mark anytime soon.

For those wondering, Elden Ring will be coming out on Windows, PS5, Xbox One, Series X | S, and the PlayStation 4 on February 25. Excited about the game?! Let us know in the comments down below.
