The ongoing season 12 of Call of Duty: Mobile saw the the Fennec getting buffed along with some other guns. Fennec currently, is the most used gun in the game and there are a lot of reasons for that. It’s literally a killing machine at short range and can decimate anyone before them even reacting.
Today, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Fennec. It’s overview, stats, best gunsmith loadout and the most viable perks to equip with the gun.
Overview
First let’s talk about the effectiveness of prime of the Fennec. The gun shreds at short range, and kills extremely fast. It’s time to kill is so great that the enemy doesn’t stand a chance to even react, if you connect your first bullet. It’s fire rate is the fastest in the game, even faster than the MSMC SMG.
The Akimbo perk has made the gun more viable, since you get 70 bullets with the extended mag, and you can build the gun around hip firing attachments, to improve your accuracy. Currently, it’s the most used gun alongside HVK-30, which is the best Assault Rifle in the game right now.

Using the Fennec for short range gunfights will win you the battle almost 10 out of 10 times. The mobility is excellent as well, since it is a Submachine gun, so your movement will be on point as well, while dodging the enemy’s bullets.
Fennec Stats – Damage, Fire Rate, Accuracy
Fennec | Stats |
Damage: | 38 |
Fire Rate: | 111 |
Accuracy: | 22 |
Mobility: | 88 |
Range: | 40 |
Control: | 14 |
These are the base stats of the Fennec SMG. Here you can see from the table above, how fast the fire rate of the gun is. A whooping 111 base fire rate means you’ll kill your enemy before them even firing a single, and maybe even before they open their scope.
The accuracy however isn’t that great, nor the controls, but you don’t need ADS bullet spread accuracy while using the Akimbo perk. And the recoil isn’t that much either while hip firing.
Fennec – Best Attachments, Gunsmith Loadout
The Fennec gunsmith loadout that we suggest has the Akimbo perk equipped on the weapon. Apart from that, it increases the accuracy, range and controls of the gun, to make it more useful at closer to mid range. We have a separate detailed post about the best Akimbo Fennec loadout.
Right now, here is a list of the attachments that we suggest for the gun.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Perk: Akimbo
- Laser: MIP Laser 5mW
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Ammunition: Extended Mag A
Best Perks
We’ll suggesting two perks from each category, that is red, green and blue. It’s your preference if you want to equip them or go with something else.
Red Perks
- Light Weight: Sprinting speed is increased by 10% and fall damage is greatly reduced.
Although the mobility of Fennec is already great, but the Light Weight perk will provide you some extra boost with your movement speed to escape quickly after getting a kill or two.
- Persistance: Scorestreak progression does not reset on death, but Scorestreaks costs are doubled.
The primary perk for respawns if you are running high scorestreaks, like XS1 Goliath, VTOL, Cluster Strike etc. It’ll allow you to activate your scorestreaks at double the amount of points, but you won’t have to worry about dying.
Green Perks
- Toughness: Reduces flinch from damage received by 60%.
A great perk to win you some gunfights. It will keep your aim intact even when you are taking shots. Otherwise, your aim will be going all over the place and it’ll be hard to control it during a fierce battle.
- Hard Wired: Immune to Counter-UAVs and EMP Grenades, and no longer trigger Trip Mines. Reduces the effectiveness of enemy Tracker perks.
A must have perk for Search & Destroy mode. You don’t want to die to a trip mine and give your team a 4v5 disadvantage.
Blue Perks
- Dead Silence: Silent Movement
Dead Silence literally doesn’t have any negatives. You get silent movement which is a win win situation in Search & Destroy as well as in respawn modes like Domination and Hardpoint.
- Hardline: Increase points earned by killing enemies by 25%.
The Hardline perk will allow you to get the points quickly to activate your scorestreaks. It’ll increase the points earned by 25% which can help out a lot winning the respawn modes.
This was our detailed guide about the Fennec Submachine gun. It’s the META right now, and you can take the advantage by using the most overpowered SMG in Call of Duty: Mobile.
