PUBG: New State just launched and people are super excited to play the game. The highly anticipated sequel aims to deliver bigger than PUBG: Mobile by having enhanced visuals, better gunplay, new vehicles, and improved controls. Speaking of controls, ever since the game got announced, players were wondering if they could play it with a controller. Many mobile games – such as Call of Duty: Mobile – are incorporating the controller support, making it accessible for more players to pick and play the game. While PUBG: Mobile didn’t have native controller support, will its sequel add this highly requested feature? Let’s find out!

Many players are concerned that PUBG: New State will not have controller support since its predecessor also did not have native support. So far, the developers have not given a solid answer but after trying out every controller, we came to the unfortunate conclusion that there is no controller support.

After trying out almost every controller, they just wouldn’t work in PUBG: New State. With that being said though, the game offers an amazing control scheme that is highly customizable. You can adjust the button layout according to your preference.

It might take some getting used to if you only play on controller but once you get the hang of it, you’ll enjoy using the touchscreen controls. While you can use some third party apps to make your controller work, we suggest that you don’t do it. Your account can be banned since these apps are not officially supported and might be considered as cheating.
