After all the buffs and nerfs to different guns in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 13, especially to the SMGs, there is still a gun which is pretty much usable and can be used even in competitive matches. What makes the gun so good is its effectiveness of prime alongside its versatility. It can be used at medium to a bit of long range as well, and is an absolute killing machine in the short range. Yes, we are talking about the brand new QXR SMG.
In this article we will discuss all the details about the newly arrived submachine gun, including its overview, stats, best gunsmith load and the prime perks to equip with the gun. So let’s dive right into it.
Call of Duty: Mobile has been seeing the assault rifle meta from a couple of seasons now. The fennec and HG40 were used in the last couple of seasons but both have been nerfed now. As a result, players are opting to go with the assault rifles as their main weapon. However, with the addition of the new submachine gun in the form of QXR, players have been using it a lot due to its all-round capabilities.
The QXR has got a good damage at medium range and a very fast time to kill at the short one. Its fire rate is already fast but can be increased even more with a specific Enhanced Bolt attachment that exclusively comes with the gun.
The hip-fire is also not bad and can pretty much kill the enemy at 3-5 meter range. In short, it is a very versatile gun with great effectiveness of prime, and can be used in any map and mode.
QXR Stats – Damage, Fire Rate, Accuracy
These are the base stats of the QXR submachine gun. As you can see it has a fast fire rate, which can be increased even more, great mobility and excellent accuracy. Now below is our suggested loadout for the gun to transform it to its best form.
QXR – Best Attachments, Gunsmith Loadout

At the same time, below is a short summary of the gunsmith attachments that we suggest for the weapon, and it focuses on different aspects to make the gun as effective as possible in short to mid range gunfights.
- Barrel: OWC Marksman
- Stock: No Stock
- Perk: Enhanced Bolt
- Laser: OWC Laser – Tactical
- Ammunition: Extended Mag A
Best Perk to Equip with QXR
Now there are multiple perks that you can equip while using this gun. We will give you multiple suggestion from each category, that is red, blue and green. However, you can go with other perks as well, depending on your preference and play style.
- Lightweight: Sprinting speed is increased by 10% and fall damage is greatly reduced.
The mobility is already high for the QXR but still a bit more speed won’t do any bad, especially if you are playing a respawn mode, and have to reach the objectives as quick as possible.
- Persistance: Scorestreak progression does not reset on death, but scorestreaks costs are doubled.
Another choice would be to equip the persistance perk with QXR, if you are playing as a slayer, and wanting to get your scorestreaks charged up as soon as possible. Your progression won’t reset, but you will have to get double the points to activate the scorestreak.
- Toughness: Reduces flinch from damage received by 60%.
Toughness will help in reducing the flinch as most of the SMGs have quite a lot, and your aim won’t shake while taking enemy shots.
- Quick Fix: Gun, Melee kills immediately starts health regeneration.
You can also use the quick fix perk as it will regenerate your health faster as compared to when the perk is not equipped. Holding and capturing objectives will also increase the HP.
- Hard Wired: Immune to Counter-UAVs and EMP Grenades, and no longer trigger Trip Mines. Reduces the effectiveness of enemy Tracker perks.
If you are playing Search and Destroy mode then you must be having this perk equipped as it will save you from enemy trip mines.
- Hardline: Increase points earned by killing enemies by 25%.
The hardline perk will help you in getting points quicker by 25%, to activate your scorestreaks faster if you are using persistance. Persistance + hardline combination is a go-to for many professional players.
- Shrapnel: Spawn with extra piece of lethal equipment. Explosive damage delays enemy health regeneration.
Shrapnel is a great perk for respawn modes. You will respawn with an extra lethal equipment, which can be either Trip Mine, Grenade, Thermite or Molotov Cocktail.
This was our complete review of the new QXR SMG. It is a good viable option if you are looking to use any submachine gun. You can try out our suggested gunsmith loadout and perks to see if it works for you.
