The House of The Dead Remake Release Date Revealed In New Trailer

The House of The Dead Remake has been a very highly anticipated title for fans of both House of The Dead and old-school light gun games alike. While the remake was initially announced last year, little else was shown regarding it until now. Forever Entertainment have announced that The House of The Dead Remake will be launching in mid-April, with pre-orders available on March 31.

Forever Entertainment has also shown off more of the game in a brand new trailer that showcases a bit more of the game’s gunplay and its iconic enemies and environments in action. The remake is also adding some new content based on what’s shown in the trailer’s description. The descriptions reads as:

“THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake is a remade version of the game introduced in 1997 on the arcade platform. A classic arcade rail-shooter receives a whole new entourage and gameplay changes to suit modern gaming standards.

  • Well known arcade classic with modern graphics and controls
  • True to the original gameplay
  • Local 2-player multiplayer
  • Multiple endings
  • Photo mode
  • Achievements
  • Armory with unlockable weapons
  • Hordes of the undead monstrosities in a new game mode

The House of The Dead Remake comes out April 7th for the Nintendo Switch, as of now there is no news whether this remake will be available on other platforms or not.

The game can currently be wishlisted on the Nintendo store.
