Fortnite Chapter 2 is close to an end, bringing life to their all-new Chapter 3. Although there haven’t been many official announcements regarding the third chapter of the game, there have been a couple of noteworthy leaks circulating around the net. With the leaks looking promising, it’s quite probable that we know more about the upcoming Fortnite chapter than we probably should.
Fortnite Chapter 3 will be featuring a brand new Battle Pass along with tons of crossovers and new locations in the game. There have also been rumours of new weapons and skins coming along Chapter 3’s first Battle Pass.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Release Date
Fortnite Chapter 2 will be finally ending after 8 long seasons, giving way to the first season of Chapter 3. The release of the next chapter will go underway from Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 4 pm ET. The release will be initiated through a live event called “The End” probably followed by the “Blackhole screen” like last time.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Leaks
Although no content has been released officially about Chapter 3, there have been some really strong rumours circulating the web. Here’s what we could figure out Chapter 3 of Fortnite might have.
Spider-Man Crossover
There have been quite a lot of rumours confirming a Spiderman crossover in Fortnite. It’s quite probable that the game will be receiving a couple of spiderman items along with a mythic suite for the hero itself. The crossover will also perfectly coincide with the upcoming Spiderman movie; Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Throwing Axe
Leakers have also been able to track down a brand new Throwing Axe from the game’s files. Rumours have reported that the axe will be a new item addition rather than simply acting as a skin for your old Pickaxe.
Winterfest
There have also been numerous leaks regarding the return of 2019’s Winterfest with the upcoming Chapter. This rumour has been fueled by proof from the game files indicating that Epic has been working on something quite similar to the Crackshot Cabin from 2019’s Winterfest.
Ride-able Animals
There has been an age-long rumour of players being able to ride animals in the game but it still hasn’t come to life. However, game files have mentioned a new item Saddle which is supposedly used to ride animals in the game.
Sliding
A new Sliding mechanic is also expected to be featured in Fortnite’s latest chapter. The mechanic will allow players to slide across the surface while shooting down their enemies. The surface angle and the type of the surface will definitely affect your sliding speed. There is also expected to be a 2-second delay between each slide and an increase of FOV by 15 during your slide.
This sums up all we know and expect from the upcoming Chapter 3 of Fortnite. A Battle Pass for the first season of the new chapter is also underway but Epic is doing quite a tight job in keeping things contained.
