Crysis Remastered Trilogy Launch Trailer Out Now for the PC and Consoles

Crysis Remastered Trilogy is an upcoming FPS shooter featuring remasters of the iconic single-player campaigns from CrysisCrysis 2, and Crysis 3. The game is an old-time classic, getting a total makeover and being released on October 15 on all next-gen consoles with new and improved features.

Developers from Crytek have confirmed that players can also purchase individual game remasters of the different Crysis titles included in this trilogy. However, purchasing the individual remasters would set you off a couple of dollars. With the game getting hyped, Crytek has also released a launch trailer for the Trilogy just before the official release date.

Along with the trailer release, the developers have confirmed that the Trilogy will be available to play on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, and PS4. The game will also be receiving a separate physical release on Nintendo Switch, however, the dates have not been communicated as of yet.

What’s New in Crysis Remastered Trilogy

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy is optimized and enhanced towards next-gen consoles, which primarily means that the games will play smoother and better than before. With the original games being played at an average of 720p and 30 FPS, the next-gen consoles will be able to run the remasters on 1080p and 4K at 60 FPS.

Apart from the enhanced performance, Crysis Remastered Trilogy features improved lighting and visually enhanced characters, weapons, and environments, plus high-definition textures for crystal clear images.

While Crysis Remastered launched as a standalone title last summer, this is the first time that the second and third games have been shined up for modern consoles. While the developers haven’t specified the exact visual upgrades the game would be getting, they did manage to release a comparison video of both versions of the game.
