Slime Ranger 2 is a beautiful game and if anyone thinks that it hasn’t got any depth and attention to detail then they haven’t played the game. Hunter Slime is Slime Rancher 2’s version of a wild feline and in this guide, we will get to know more about it.

Slime Rancher 2 Hunter Slime Location

You might have seen all different kinds of slimes but have you seen a ninja slime? I don’t think so because if you had seen them, they aren’t a good ninja. All jokes aside, the slime we are talking about is none other than Hunter Slime.

Hunter Slime is another slime from the Feline Family and just like every other slime in this family, they are shy but trouble makers. Hunter Slimes are not easy to find and capture because most of the time they are not exactly visible.

Hunter Slimes have the ability to turn invisible as soon as they sense any danger but their invisibility is not perfect. Even in their cloaked state, their eyes can be seen and those bright yellow eyes are something that is going to be hard to miss even if you are not paying a lot of attention.

How to Get Roostro in Slime Rancher 2

Roostro is the male counterpart of the Chicken and it is required if you want to breed chickens on your ranch. Roostro is uncommon as compared to chicken so you should cherish it once you get your hands on one.

There are several ways to get a Roostro in Slime Rancher 2 and the most obvious way is to find and catch one in the wild. Once you get it, bring it back to your ranch and place it in Coop alongside Hens.

Once a Roostro is in close proximity to a hen, it will start laying eggs and from those eggs, you will get Chickadoos. Any chickadoo has a chance of growing into a Roostro. Don’t keep more than 12 Chickens in a coop because then the hens won’t lay any eggs.

Roostro is the favorite food of the Hunter Slime and will double the plort yield. Because Roostros are hard to get a hold of, don’t feed all of your Roostros to the Hunter Slime and keep some for breeding.
