Kratos has just been officially announced as a cross-over skin for Fornite Chapter 2 Season 5. The update has already included iconic characters such as the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda.
Fortnite is known for its epic and ambitious crossovers. The previous Season had players end the season in a battle of epic proportions against Marvel’s famous villain, Galactus. Moreover, players could also play as their favorite Marvel character. Kratos or the Ghost of Sparta is the main protagonist of Santa Monica Studio’s God of War series. The character has always been a part of the PlayStation franchise. He is known for his qualms with Greek and Norse mythological Gods. Therefore, he seems to be the perfect fit for this cross-over as he is known to hunt down dieties.

PlayStation’s official tweet made a tease of the crossover a few hours ago. Fortnite’s social media pages have also added a couple of images that display Kratos’s look in the game as well.
Kratos will be joining other characters such as The Mandalorian in order to fight against an evil that has not been revealed yet. The developers have Epic have talked about how this Season is planned to have the most cross-overs with iconic characters to date. So, you can expect a lot more characters to be popping up as the Season progresses.
The character is expected to come as free skin. Moreover, Kratos can be played on all platforms, including the Xbox, Playstation, Switch, and PC. Currently, no details regarding the release have been announced. However, it is anticipated that an Event will follow alongside the skin’s release.
