Best Graveborn Companion Build in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

One of the most enjoyable aspects about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and the Borderlands series, in general, is all the leeway offered to the players in terms of building a class according to their preferred play style. Want to run and gun like no tomorrow?

There’s a build for that. Want to stay in the shadows and pick people out from a distance? There’s a build for that. Want to get in close and kill everything with a shotgun? There’s a build for that too!

One such build in the game is one that relies on companions. This Graveborn build is focused on getting the most out of your summoned companions and maximizing the effectiveness of your companions and their damage. Summon the most companions you can possibly can to increase all damage to the absolute maximum. Here’s our build guide for Companions for the Graveborn / Spore Warden classes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Primary/Secondary Class:

After starting off as a Graveborn, if you’ve decided that a companion-focused build is what you’re going to play as in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. We strongly recommend going for a Spore Warden as your secondary class as having an extra companion to summon will greatly help for this build. Aside from that a lot of Spore Warden’s skills will be of great assistance to the player.

Skill Tree:

The skill trees in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are large and expansive focusing on a wider variety of playstyles. For this companion build, we recommend going for the following skills for both your Graveborn and Spore Warden Skill trees.

Graveborn Skills:

The Graveborn tree will be focused on buffing the dark damage as much as you possibly can while also buffing your Hydra and overall companion damage. Finding a class mad that will give you a +3 on Faithful Thralls coupled with a consistent output of companions will also ensure an unrelenting barrage of the good ol’ ultra-violence.

+1/1 Morhaim’s BlessingCasting a Spell automatically activates all of the Fatemaker’s Kill Skills.

Spore Warden Skills:

Spore Warden tree’s main focus would increase your and your companion’s damage as much as possible. Bullseye combined with Thrill of The Hunt will grant the players absurd damage output on both themselves and on their companions while Kindred Heart makes sure that they also remain suitably tanky as well. This is going to synergize phenomenally well with the Graveborn.

PerksBonus
+5/5 Kindred Heart45.0% Companion Health. +40.0% Companion Damage.
+5/5 Affinity +35.0% Ability Damage.
+4/5 Bullseye+40.0% Gun Critical Hit Chance. +40.0% Companion Critical Hit Chance.

+3/3 Thrill of the HuntGun Critical Hits grant increased Companion Damage for a duration. This effect can stack. Companion Damage: +9.0% per stack. Duration: 10 seconds. Max Stacks: 10.

With these skills players will have the survivability to ensure their companions are always on the field and their companions will also have the offensive capability to fend off any enemies by themselves. The stacks granted by skills like Faithful Thrall and Bullseye also ensure that the player will also be dealing high damage alongside their companions making for a wonderful orchestra of carnage.

Equipment:

For this build, we highly recommend Feriore weapons that can summon a companion when thrown. Certain Feriore Weapons in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will summon a companion when thrown. Having the most amount of companions at once will grant players stacks of Faithful Thrall significantly increasing ALL damage including spells, guns, and the companions themselves. Keep in mind that pixie companions don’t count towards Faithful Thrall.

Players can further skyrocket their damage by putting even more points into Faithful Thrall using Class mods/Armors which can lead to some absurd numbers but this requires players to actually grind for the equipment first which might not be up to everyone’s speed.

There are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to spells in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. For this build, we recommend spells that can summon a Hydra for this build due to the points we previously put in our Graveborn skill tree, having a great Hydra summoning spell can turn this from a great build to an unstoppable one. The more companions you have on-screen at any time the more stacks of faithful thrall you will have, making for some insanely high DPS numbers.

Is a Graveborn Companion Build Actually Worth it?

Absolutely! This build is a total powerhouse that will shred most enemies and bosses within seconds, if you’re looking to completely break the balance of the game and just see how utterly overpowered your player can get then this build is as great a choice as any of them.

While I would personally not get the appeal of breaking a game’s balance, it’s good to know that so many people are getting so much enjoyment out of the systems and mechanics in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

And that’s all you need to know about building a solid build focused around Companions for your Graveborn/Spell Warden.
