Nintendo Release 2022 Game Titles
Nintendo has planned some major releases and this latest financial report has somewhat confirmed that these are still on track, lets’s hope there is no delay.
Triangle Strategy is a turn-based strategy game where the player controls multiple characters as they tackle the political landscape of the land where a conflict is brewing between 3 different forces. The gameplay is very much like Final Fantasy Tactics and the art style has taken inspiration from Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is developed by HAL Laboratory and published and will be the seventeenth part of the main Kirby series, also being the first to explore the 3D style. Set in a dystopian future the protagonist will go about in their usual way of inhaling characters and using their respective powers to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. This time around the other Joy Con can be used to play Co-Op with a friend.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
This is the sequel of the famous Zelda Breath of the Wild. The main plotline of the story so far seems to be Link has Zelda by his side in this game which could result in some depth that previously was absent from his character. It can be a run-of-the-mill good vs evil story or it can take the route of God of War’s latest sequel and have some character development engrained it as well. We’ll let you know as soon as more information about the game is released.
This Nintendo’s colorful take on the competitive shooter is a sight for sore eyes. Splatoon tries to spin up the formula of shooters with their unique take on the gamestyle. A new region is added to the series with Spatlands, where inhabitants are vibrant. There are new styles for Inklings and Octolings. New stages, new maneuvers, and new weapons will be featured. And a story mode where you take on the evil Octarian army.
Bayonetta, the crazy overly sexualized witch, is back with her arsenal of insane moves and mind boggling combos and witchy powers. She is more stylish than ever and the animations of the game, according to the trailer above, looks downright fabulous. Though the combat looks cinematic it will still require players to be vigilant in what abilities to utilize to take her opposing forces down.
As you can see, we’ve got our hands full with tons of new and unique games coming from Nintendo over the year. With major juggernauts like Dying Light 2 just coming out with more on the way, will the Japanese company be able to keep up and keep the sales of the Switch up? Or will we see more Xbox and PlayStation games?
