PS5 Firmware Update 21.01 on April 14 | External USB Support Added

Sony has just released Firmware Update 21.01 on 4 April and we have the complete patch notes for your reading pleasure. The update adds a plethora of new features including the ability to use an external USB to store your games with the new revamped Stats Screen as well.

The update is being rolled out globally to all regional variants of the PS5 and has a file size of around 902 MB. The update itself also adds some features for the PS4 as well. However, the majority of the update is catered towards the new console.
