Who are The Best DPS Heroes in Overwatch 2?

DPS – Damage Per Shot. This is enough to explain this class. Damage or DPS heroes are the main sources of damage on any team. They are responsible for taking down as many enemies as possible and always going out on a limb to take one for the team and killing as many enemies before finally going down. Overwatch 2’s DPS Class has the biggest pool of heroes out of all the other classes so it can be a bit confusing to pick one.

We have put together a list of must-have DPS heroes that are deadly in any hand and put all the other damage heroes to shame. For a detailed guide, check out our best DPS Heroes guide.

Genji

Genji - Overwatch 2
Genji

Ninjas are trained to be silent, fast, and lethal. They don’t care about their own life and they always put their mission first. Genji is a prime example of that. Genji is Overwatch’s top DPS Hero and has been a favorite of every player who likes to go ham and cause the enemy team to tremble just by the thought of a Genji being on the other team.

Genji packs a very respectable arsenal and all of them pack a punch. First are the deadly shuriken that Genji uses and is very good with it. They deal 29 damage and Genji throws three of them at one time dealing total damage of 87 if all three hits.

Genji has the ability to quickly and swiftly strike with his Swift Strike and Dragonblade abilities. The reason why Genji is on the top is that Genji has barely any counter and all you can do is that rookie picks up Genji because a Genji in the right hands can be as lethal as an atomic bomb.

Sojourn

Sojourn - Overwatch 2
Sojourn

Sojourn is the true definition of run and gun. Her railgun can blow heads off. It has a high rate of fire, and good DPS and the secondary shot which shoots out a more powerful and concentrated beam of energy is the final nail in the coffin of anyone who dares come in front of it.

Sojourn’s entire ability lies around her Railgun and the other abilities she has also help her in efficiently using her Railgun. If you are not good at aiming then you can use her Disruptor Shot which will slow down all enemies that come close to the force field and then you can take it down.

Her Power Slide lets her run away after killing someone. Overall she is a perfect package with an ultimate weapon and if you have good aim, which all DPS players do, she is perfect for you as you can pretty much run and shoot any enemy you see.

Who are the Best Support Heroes in Overwatch 2?

There is a saying that, “A team is as good as its support”. Some might argue with that but it is definitely true that Support Class is the backbone of the team. They are constantly supplying their team with health, buffs, and other types of support There are tons of Support Hero options but to make it easier for you to choose we have listed the best support heroes in overwatch 2. Kiriko

If you are a DPS player and now want to transition towards the support role but don’t wanna give up on the fast, action-filled, and precise action then Kiriko is exactly what you should go for. Kiriko is the newest addition to the support roster in Overwatch 2 and has quickly become a fan favorite.

Kiriko is a ranged healer that requires precise shots but is worth the effort. Kiriko uses healing Ofuda which is basically healing projectiles that can be thrown at any distance and as soon as it hits you, you will get an instant surge of health.

Kiriko is fast, can teleport throw walls, run on walls, and throw Kunai like a proper ninja. She is not one to be messed with. Kiriko can take care of herself and doesn’t require a DPS or a Tank looking out for her. She deals lethal damage with her Kunai and her all-roundedness is what makes her a top support hero.

Lucio

Lucio - Overwatch 2
Lucio

Lucio is a walking buff and healer because all he needs to do is be close to you and you will automatically get either health regeneration or a movement. Lucio uses sounds to perform his support capabilities and if mastered, his abilities are unmatched.

Lucio has tons of useful abilities and all of them are focused on being excellent support. Lucio constantly plays a song that will either buff his nearby allies or heal them. Lucio also has a decent weapon to allow him to not get himself killed.

Aside from all of this, his ultimate is a lifesaver, literally. His ultimate will give everyone in his line of sight a massive health buff which might run out in a bit but is enough to get the team out of a bind. Lucio also can run on walls that cover his mobility shortcomings. Overall, he is a solid pick and his importance in a team cannot be denied.

Who are The Best Tank Heroes in Overwatch 2?

Tanks are the main shield for the team as they have to be at the front to soak up all the damage coming from the enemies and not let it reach their flimsy healers and DPS heroes so it is absolutely paramount to pick a Tank that checks all the boxes. Below are the top Tank Heroes in Overwatch 2. If you want a deeper insight into the Tank Class and Tank Heroes then you can check out our best Tank Heroes guide.

Orisa

Orisa - Overwatch 2
Orisa

Orisa is one of the top picks when it comes to Tanks in Overwatch 2 and there are a number of reasons for it. The main reason is that Orisa is the perfect balance of offense and defense in the Tank Class and because of that particular reason, she is a hot favorite.

Orisa has a fully automatic machine gun that is capable of obliterating enemies at close-range and her abilities are all together in a different class. Her Energy Javelin ability has the ability to stun the enemy which is crucial in a fight for easy picks.

Being a tank, she has to shield, which she does pretty well and her Fortify ability allows her to grant her team extra protection against projectiles and on top of that, an additional 125 HP. She is perfect for any situation and that is why a must-have.

D.Va

D.Va - Overwatch 2
D.Va

If you are looking for a tank with high damage output, better mobility, and special features that makes it better than the others then look no further because D.Va is the one you are looking for. This small creature sitting inside his mech is packing more destructive power than you can imagine.

D.Va wields dual, fully automatic machine guns with unlimited ammo that have a decent range and decent damage per shot. She can literally absorb the projectiles coming towards it and on top of that, he has mini rockets that can do some pretty serious damage.

D.Va has the ultimate ability to make his mech self-destruct and if it is timed right, it can make the whole enemy go KABOOM! If need be, D.Va can eject from his mech and though it might not have lots of health on its own it gives you another fighting chance and you can call for another mech. Overall, this is a solid pick for anyone looking for destructive capabilities with more health than a DPS hero.

  1. Not really an fps fan, but i do love Overwatch.D.VA and Kiriko are probably the best from my personal experience. Haven’t hardly played anything since the release of Overwatch 2, definitely a great time despite the rough launch it had.
